Privacy Policy

How Verify collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data, and the rights you have over that data.

Last updated · April 15, 2026

1. Who we are

Verify is operated by Verify Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use our website, products, or services.

2. What we collect

We collect identity and contact data (name, work email, employer), product usage data (events, requests, decisions), device and network data (IP, user agent, language), and the verification artefacts you submit for processing (documents, selfies, media).

3. How we use it

To deliver and operate the service, to comply with legal obligations (KYC/AML where applicable), to keep the service secure (fraud and abuse prevention), and to communicate about your account. We do not sell personal data.

5. Sharing and processors

We use vetted sub-processors (hosting, payment, customer support, analytics). A current list is available on request. We share personal data with these processors under data-processing agreements.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside its origin region, we rely on standard contractual clauses, UK IDTA, adequacy decisions, or equivalent mechanisms.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as needed to deliver the service or comply with law. Workspaces can configure retention windows for verification artefacts, including zero-retention mode for the strictest pipelines.

8. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. To exercise these, contact privacy@verify.example. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, audit logging, vulnerability management, and regular penetration testing.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or data-subject requests, contact privacy@verify.example. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at the same address.
